i was gonna go with a different title, then i needed a discrpitive name to save this under. i liked the title so much i decided to use it, probably because misty sounds like mysterious, and that's what mist creates, mystery.

actually taking this picture wasn't as eassy. i never really liked level crossings (spoorwegovergangen), even gaurded ones like this one, much, and on my first attempt to take this picture just as i stepped on the rails a train came..... ironically on my way back (i made this on a trip, more to come probably) i had to wait for it again.

not much editing done, i fogged out some distracting elements, made the pylons a bit darker and converted to b&w

Likes this alot.. could be a better title tho, more.. metaphorical or symbolic or whatevers.

But it's a very strong shot.

i kinda prefer the more descriptive title, as my favorite picture of all time is called the tettons and the snake river, which may sound very deep, but actualy it's a photo of a mountainrange called the tetons, and a river called the snake river.

thanks, there are some more comming up, i can't believe i once said i didn't like B&W.

Well you didn't like my B&W, that's something different than ALL B&W.

And your own (edited) work always seems to look very nice (in general). Compared to what it used to be.

well i do vaugely remember saying it, but whatever.

what exactly do you mean by the second sentence? do you mean that work looks better after you edited it? do you mean that i improved?

awright.

Ik bedoelde dat je eigen werk er altijd beter uitziet nadat je het hebt bewerkt omdat het anders is dan de originele foto, maar dat nog niet direct betekend dat het ook beter/goed is.
