Description

from the same place as my previous two shots. i shot this one on the way back, which had the added advantage of low light. that same light is what made this picture, i could see it just touching these few trees. i didn't have time to setup my tripod, but since i always leave my camera on my tripod, i simply adjusted my polarizer, and used my tripod as a monopod. i still had a lot of shaken picturs, but this one turned out great i think.

EDIT: changed color profile (hope that'll be the last of those damn problems), and corrected typo in the title

EDIT 2: changed the trees, mainly to reduce the look of low quality.

EDIT 3: yes, a lot of editing here. i applied some darkening only sharpening around the trees to bring out the contrast between trees and sky, which was a minor problem, but a major eyesore to me.

one last thing, if you like this one, please check my previous deviation, through some stupid things, it never got to see the light of day as a new deviation, (uploaded it to scraps first)

This is definitely a place that I'd love to spend some time at, it just looks very peaceful there and the sunlight streaming down almost has a warmth to it due to the color. I can't really tell if this is a beach (I think it's a beach).

I like that there is more land than sky, I don't really care for pictures where it's even. The trees seem rather nonchalant, until you get to the stand of trees which jump out at you with their whitish trunks. The focus is nicely off center and the glow on those trees makes you want to attempt to see further into the forest.

Overall, I like the photo. It definitely makes me want to take a look at more of your gallery.
